All of our lumber has been commercially dried to 6% moisture content and will not move, crack, or warp in any way. Kiln dried lumber is used to make things like fine furniture and the cabinets in your kitchen.**     EVERY block measure EXACTLY 2" x 4" x 8" and have been finish planed on all four sides with no skips, clean sawn edges and smooth cut ends unlike our competitors which have rough cut band sawn ends. Each block is a natural white Basswood color and is defect free with the exception of an occasional pin knot which is usually less than 1/16" in diameter or less. All of our blocks are hand selected and are guaranteed to yield 100%.
