    Description

    Vintage wood stein decorated by pyrography -- wood burning art.
    The nicely detailed stein featureds a flattened scroll handled, a hinged lid with a decorated finial, a spread foot and two raised bands.  The central decoration is a seated monk, next to him is a barrel with a bottle on top.  Above the top band is a raised scrolling grape vine design.
    Attractively worn finish.  Good overall condition with several age checks on the base, two of which go up through the foot.
    Measures about 7 1/2" tall.
