This sale is for a very rare and original 1996 Volkswagen Passat, GTI, Jetta Tokyo Autoshow Debut Press Kit. This media kit was given to media outlets when the car debuted at the Tokyo Autoshow in 1996. This media kit was sent to Bob Nagy of Motor Trend Magazine. Most of this kit is in Japanese.
This media kit come with one plastic folder and one paper folder, envelope with 11 color slides, and printed photo booklet.
The paper folder is 9"x12" with 51 original pages of vehicle information for the new models: Passat, GTI, Jetta, Cabrio. Info is in English. Pages are in great condition with no yellowing, the folder shows some wear. See photos for details.
The plastic folder is 9"x12" four ring binder with 34 pages and 6 dividers in English:  "New" Golf Cabrio, "New" Passat, Golf CL Diesel, Vanagon, and more.
The Photo booklet is 10"x10". 10 full color pages in Japanese. Booklet shows wear. See photos of details.
Slides: 11 full color slides in an envelope addressed to Bob Nagy of Motor Trend Magazine.
