You are bidding on a pair of Sterlig Silver handle Sugar Tongs or Nips, which have teeth for breaking off sugar pieces, and tongs for picking up and placing in cup of tea. There are no marking except for Sterling on both sides of the handles. My guess on age is late 1800s. Unusual to find them with the cutting teeth, when sugar came in blocks unrefined.
